Welcome to my website! I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta and part of the Center for Comparative Psycholinguistics lab. I defended my Ph.D. dissertation in Psycholinguistics in December 2024 (supervised by Dr. Juhani Järvikivi).

My dissertation explored how explicit and implicit accent attitudes as well as other personality traits affect the comprehension of language characterized by interpretative uncertainty (e.g., figurative language). My current project examines whether these findings extend to particular population groups.
