Veranika Puhacheuskaya

Hi there! My name is Veranika Puhacheuskaya and I am currently doing a Ph.D. in Psycholinguistics under the supervision of Dr. Juhani Järvikivi. I am part of the Center for Comparative Psycholinguistics lab.

I am interested in how and when cognitive systems that support language interact with other systems, such as those that support social cognition, moral valuation, affect, and the like. I am currently working on non-linguistic factors that influence comprehension of foreign-accented speech, focusing on sociopolitical attitudes and implicit stereotypes.
